Robot scare in Macau! Woman goes to hospital

In Macau, something surprising happened! A woman was walking in the evening, looking at her phone. Suddenly, she saw a robot behind her. It gave her a big fright!

The police said that the woman got very scared when she saw the robot. She didn’t get hurt by the robot, but she felt unwell because she was so startled. She had to go to the hospital to get checked.

People took videos of what happened and put them online. The videos showed the woman talking to the robot in a loud voice. She seemed very angry and asked the robot why it bothered her. The robot just stood there and moved its arms. Many people gathered around to watch.

The police said the woman is now feeling better and has left the hospital. She is not angry anymore and doesn’t want to punish the person who owns the robot.

The robot looks like a special kind of robot made by a company in China called Unitree. These robots can do many things, like dance and even do backflips! But usually, people control them, or they are programmed to do certain things. It’s not common to see robots walking around by themselves.

The man who was using the robot said he was testing it out. He wanted to use it to help his business. The police told him to be careful when using the robot, so it doesn’t scare or hurt anyone.

Why are Robots Important?

China wants to be the best in the world at making robots. They want robots to help people with many things, like cleaning, building, and even taking care of sick people.
