China discovered a new species of dinosaur

Palaeontologists (古生物學家) in China have discovered a new species of dinosaur that measures 14 metres (~46 feet) long. It was named Gandititan cavocaudatus (腔尾贛地巨龍). Its discovery means there existed a previously unknown group of titanosaurus (泰坦巨龍) in southern Asia. Announced by the Jiangxi Geological Museum (江西省地質博物館), the fossils of the new dinosaur were found at a construction site in Ganxian district in Ganzhou (贛州), Jiangxi province (江西省) in eastern China. ...Read More
